If you haven't heard of Steve the Jumping Dinosaur, you're behind the curve. The addictive game, which could really be the new Flappy Bird, lives in your Notification Centre, so you don't have to unlock your phone to play.
It was built in just one weekend by 22-year-old Iván De Cabo. The creator told TechCrunch: “I wanted to do a simple game just to improve my code skills and decided to do so in the Notification Center for two reasons: to challenge myself and to see if it was possible!” The little dinosaur sits between the weather and the stocks, and you get him to jump over cacti for as long as possible.
The game is based on the Google Chrome easter egg.
This allows you to play a version of the game when Google Chrome is unable to access the internet.
