If you like shooting videos on your smartphone, then Xiaomi has a nice tool for you. The company has announced its own gimbal like accessory called the Three-axis Shooting Stabilizer.
As the name suggests it comes with a three-axis stabilization technology. The company says that the product features a high precision acceleration sensor offering a real-time detection of smartphone space position. It also offers four shooting modes; horizontal movement, omni-directional movement, locking direction, and vertical mode.
The company also claims that it is made up of ABS and fibre glass materials and features brush-less motor holdings that can rotate from 9 to 30 degrees for a 270 degree rotation. Thanks to this one can make smooth stable videos and it can be used as a selfie stick and can also be attached to a tripod.
It measures at 266 x 53 x 43mm and is said to weigh about 450 grams, which is lighter when compared to the DJI Osmo Mobile. There is also a 1,050 mAh battery offering 4 hours of backup. Priced at CNY 799 (Rs 7,500 approx) it has been made available in China from the Mi Home crowdfunding platform. There is no information if Xiaomi will launch it in other markets.
