Cristiano Ronaldo reveals the upcoming Nubia Z17 Mini smartphone

Football star Cristiano Ronaldo has been reportedly made the brand ambassador for Chinese smartphone maker Nubia. The Portuguese striker recently posted a picture from his photo shoot with the upcoming Nubia Z17 Mini smartphone
.
The picture that was posted on Weibo gives a first look at the company’s dual camera smartphone. This will be the company’s second handset to have this camera arrangement, the first being the Nubia M2. The cameras are lined horizontally along the antenna line similar to the iPhone 7 Plus while the LED flash is placed on the left side of the cameras. You can also see the rear mounted fingerprint scanner along with the Nubia branding.
The Nubia Z17 Mini is expected to feature a 5.2-inch 1080p screen, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, 16MP front facing camera and dual 13MP sensors on the back. A smaller size means a smaller battery which is said to be rated at 2,930mAh. The processor on the Z17 Mini will be clocked at 1.8GHz but it hasn’t been confirmed exactly which chipset the company is going to use. There have been rumours of a Snapdragon 653 but that chip is usually clocked at 1.95GHz.
The Nubia Z17 Mini is scheduled to launch on 6 April which is when we can get the confirmed set of features and of course the pricing.
