Nintendo just recently started selling
its new gaming console and and it seems that there is an issue with its unique Joy-Con controllers. According to the Verge, a review of the Nintendo Switch suggests that the controllers face connectivity issues due to interference.
Nintendo has clarified on the issue stating that nearby wireless devices can cause potential interference, where the Joy-Con cannot pair properly with main system. Nintendo has also released a list of items as well as locations where it suggests users to not use the console.
Basically the Switch, that is advertised as a portable gaming console that you can take anywhere, might not run properly if it is around wireless speakers, wireless access points, wireless headsets, wireless printers, microwaves, cordless phones, mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and USB 3.0 devices such as hard drives, flash drives, LAN adapters, etc. The company has also said that you should not put the console behind a television, under a metal object, or near an aquarium.
So this means that Nintendo wants you to cut off from the world, and not visit aquariums, when you are playing games on its new console.
The Nintendo Switch went on sale last Friday in a global launch with a price tag of $299 (approx Rs 20,000) unit, which works both at home and on the go. While it is selling in Japan, US and parts of Europe, the new console is yet to arrive in India.
